The software program JMP is a wonderful resource for doing graphical statistical analysis, and the documentation included with the program is generally quite excellent.  The program even comes with its own scripting language, JSL, which is relatively easy to learn to build more automated graphical analyses for a production environment.  Unfortunately, when building an automated production system that relies on JMP to run queries, automate data calculations, produce graphics, etc. the documentation included with the program does not always provide very clear ideas for ways in which the developer can use JMP to "productionize" a system built around JMP and the JSL scripting language.  This page will provide you with various tips and tricks that I have learned using JMP version 7 so that you too may benefit from some of the more esoteric, but extremely powerful and time-saving abilities of the JSL language and the JMP engine.  Here we go!...
